On 29 August 2015, a Punjabi Rally was organized by the Punjabi Prachar Organization. The purpose of the rally was to draw the attention of the Punjab government to the fact that injustice is being done to crores of Punjabis by not including Punjabi language in primary education across Punjab. This rally started from Press Club Lahore and reached Governor House. A large number of Punjabi writers and poets as well as students of universities and colleges participated in this rally. This rally was covered by famous lawyer Babar Awan in Dunya News program.
