Bulleh Shah is a famous Sufi poet of Punjabi language who always promoted the truth and greatness of man and tried to make Punjab a peaceful country. To promote his thought, on 23rd and 24th December 2018, Punjabi Prachar Organization celebrated the Bulleh Shah Festival on large scale in Lahore Pakistan. In this festival, several literary sessions were held on his poetry, in which Bulleh Shah’s efforts to keep Punjab away from terrorism and extremism and towards peace were emphasized. Punjabi intellectuals and singers from all over Punjab participated in this festival. The festival received extensive coverage in Pakistan’s print and electronic media as well as international media.
